Ideas on Europe is an online space for original and informed analysis/comment on European issues. If you wish to be part of this forum and have an idea for an individual blog, we invite you to join us. Creating a blog is simple. we have assembled an FAQs page
For prospective bloggers. Alternatively, if your question isn’t answered on this page you can get in touch by emailing: admin[at]uaces.org. To apply to create a blog on Ideas on Europe, you need to be a UACES member. Find more information about how to become a member here.
If you are a UACES member, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Professional Affiliation
- A short bio of yourself
- A photo of you
- Name of blog (3-4 words at most)
- Blog tagline (one line description of your blog; 5-8 words at most)
- A short summary of your blog content
- An image that suits your blog or an associated logo
- Any links to other profiles you would like to add
If your application is accepted, your data will be used to allow you to log in to the website and publish your articles, and for the Ideas on Europe administrator (UACES staff) to communicate with you via email when necessary for technical assistance or support or to let you know about new features or opportunities for blog authors.
Your data will not be used for any other purpose or shared with any other party.
If your application is not accepted, your personal data will be deleted.
If you want to stop blogging you can let us know at any time how you would like to proceed with your data – either deleting or keeping it online. If your membership expires, we will keep your blog online for another year but after that will be deleted including your data.
If you change your email address, you will be able to change it directly in the backend. Let us know if you need assistance. If you blog through your association or you are a guest author we will keep your data until further notice or until the membership of your host expires.
